Street view in Mont St. Michel France

Mont St Michel France is a maze of skinny, winding streets that spiral upwards to the Abbey at the top.  It is filled with shops, restaurants and cafes, most of them touristy.

Regardless, it is still a charming place to spend an afternoon, and the photos that you will get will be worth the excursion.  Make sure to come back in the evening to get some iconic photos of the Abbey lit up at dusk.  It will be a sight that you won’t soon forget.

If you are looking for a great place to stay near Mont St Michel France, check out La Jacotiere Bed and Breakfast.  It is located just across the causeway from Mont St. Michel (about a 10 minute walk).  It has stunning views of Mont St. Michel from the back yard.
